  Breakfast buffet was excellent; I wish we had booked a reservation for dinner at the restaurant, but we were so anxious to see the city we did not. The room was lovely (we stayed in #107) but I saw #105 and it was even more lovely. Quiet, so you can sleep late and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very happy we stayed outside of Siena as it was very hot in the city, but cool at the Villa. Great views over Siena at night. Highly recommended.

Short/ bus ride to city center. - The facilities offered were excellent. The apartments were 200m down from a large supermarket, so cooking in the apartment was made easy. The apartment is not close to the centre of Florence but is easily accessible by bus number 22 from the train station and centre of Florence (about 15-20 mins on the bus). If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!
