The staf was verry friendly. When we arrived their was cold water and some fruit in the fridge. It was a verry nice place, special when you like to have some space of your own. We had an appartment on the groudfloor with a nice garden. The staf works very hard, to please you. The pool was verry nice and clean, with a beautiful view over the hills.

Staff is super friendly, Lorenzo with brother are very nice and helpful. Place is fantastic, clean and cozy, a bit away from the Florence, but easy reachable by car. Rooms are huge and luxury, we had 2 bathrooms in apartments, and fireplace! Also barbeque available on-site. Pool is beautiful, just like a picture in some luxury promotion booklet!

The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. Our kitchen was well-equipped and they offered a welcome basket of essential provisions; however there was a very nice little grocers in a small town about 1Km away if needed.
