Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed every moment of it. The staff was very friendly and kind etc. Breakfasts were good, service prompt. Everything is very clean and the hotel in overall has a certain charm, you won’t easily find anywhere else.
The location of the hotel is great for one that needs a base on Sicily and travel from here.

we had a balkoni with a side-view and it was great because it was about 30m2 !! The swimmingpool was perfect and there was created a possibilty to get into the seawater between the lava-rocks, right near the hotel. -
The staff was extremely helpful especially Elisa. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Via Lungomare which is great.
