  I thought this was a great hotel. The room and bathroom were lovely, especially the bathroom where the modern fixtures were super and the capacious shower a real treat. We had an upgrade to a lovely spacious room with two balconies from which we could look out over the old town with the swifts flying over the roof tops.   Charming, helpful owners. Castellamare del Golfo is a good base for visiting North West Sicily. The scenery in the area is beautiful. The town is not far from Palermo airport and the autostrada does not have much traffic. - Great place, perfect location and very friendly staff!! Recommended to everybody!!
