  We really enjoyed our stay at Silvio's from the friendly welcome through to the courtesy shuttle back to the ferry departure. While the property is about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and the latter stages are uphill, we enjoyed the location because of the other countryside and lakeside walks that are readily available.   Stefano, the one who handled our booking was so professional, friendly and efficient. He was so accommodating even before we came and met us and even helped us with our luggage. He's on time and was very fast in replying. The apartment is well placed in Milan as it's very central and very near the Duomo and the shopping areas. Highly recommended. - We stayed in a beautiful apartment right between the Duomo and the fashion district. Beds were firm, a/c worked, everything was clean. He made reservations at a local restaurant within walking distance (da Abate) which prepared the best fish we have tasted (also well-priced). . Tino and his wife are excellent, relaxed hosts who are always ready to help, or assist with travel solutions. Lovely B&B in a stupendous place.
