  We really enjoyed our stay at Silvio's from the friendly welcome through to the courtesy shuttle back to the ferry departure. While the property is about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and the latter stages are uphill, we enjoyed the location because of the other countryside and lakeside walks that are readily available.   We arrived early into Como hoping we could leave our luggage at the office to explore the region, thankfully and graciously we were able to go straight into our apartment which was much larger than antisipated.   We enjoyed our trip and stay at Hotel Belvedere. The staff were amazing. Especially the staff in the dinning room. I have to have special food and was told to tell them what I wanted to eat and they would fix it for me. Now that is service!!!!! Our room had a large balcony.
