After three days in Rome, the crowds started to grate on our nerves, so we made like the wealthy Romans of ancient times and got the heck out in order to get some fresh air. We took the subway to Ponte Mammolo, and a ~50 min bus ride from there to Tivoli. Heading to Tivoli, and Catillo in particular, had to be one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Italy. The private rooms within the very old house had just undergone years of remodeling in a modern and exceptionally well-designed
