  The location was fantastic. Quiet location away from the hustle but very quick and wasy walk. The hotel is much more attractive than the photos show. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good with eggs, meat, cheese and more. Pretty location on the canal - The staff were very friendly, efficient, and helpful; the breakfasts were good; the room was comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the San Vio canal; and the location was excellent, convenient for Accademia and the bridge across to San Marco, for waterbus services around Venice and to/from Marco Polo airport, and for good restaurants nearbv.

  The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks.   We had a large, comfortable room with a view of the canal and the church. Hotel has a pleasant garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, near to San Basilio vaporetto stop, convenient for attractions in the Dorsoduro area. A few caffes and osteria nearby but not far to walk to find whatever you need. I also really loved to wake up listening to birds' singing. Room/bathroom is romantically decorated and is relatively spacious.
