  This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. The new feeling is one of a boutique hotel with an intimate feeling. The entire staff went out of its way to meet our every need.   Hotel Poseidon is perfectly placed in the beautiful Positano with beautiful views across the bay. It has a lovely charm. The terrace is a relaxing place for drinks and just to take in the views. Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill. The room, a superior, was clean and comfortable. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The views are magical. We felt at home at this hotel.   Everything - we visited the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The scenery and location was perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay ; the local food and wine were excellent.   The building itself and the blue harmony, the wonderful garden, the huge swimming pool with salted water, the beach, the delicious eating and last but not least the quality of service - The views across the bay were excellent. Staff were very courteous. The lunch at the beach restaurant was the best that I had during my whole 2 week stay in Italy!
