Poggio Desto is a country house of the 18 century, located on the slopes of the Montalbano mountain, 12 km from Pistoia and 40 from Florence. It offers rustic rooms with views of the Tuscan hills, and a garden with outdoor swimming pool. The rooms of Poggio Desto B&B feature traditional terracotta floors and dark-wood furniture. Some come with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. Modern facilities include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Absolutely loved the location. The swimming pool, all the staff and facilities were first rate. It is also quite close to Lucca Pisa and Firenze and there are loads of friendly and inexpensive eateries within a short drive. You need a car and a good map or reliable gps. beautiful location, beautifully appointed. Great pool! Good place to visit locations like Sienna, San Gimignano, Cinque Terre, Florence from. Nice breakfast spread.
