I can say that after staying at Marina di Vigata that the reviews I read
of how friendly and helpful the hosts are is absolutely true. Giovanni
and Catherina are wonderful people. Several times I asked Giovanni where
to get something (like at a hardware store), and next thing I knew, it
appeared in my room. They were also very knowledgeable about good places
to eat in Porto Empedocle and surroundings. I'm not sure how much
English they speak (I speak Italian ok) but I'm sure they are more

B&B is located in a quiet area near the central street only 2 min on foot. The rooms are spacious and the quality of furniture is good. Clean. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, who surprised us with pleasant attitude and wonderful breakfast (we got ham, hot croissants, wonderful cappuccino). We liked this hotel best on our 7-day trip around Sicily. I strongly recommend to stay here.
