B&B Carella Is such a surprise its modern, clean and very
comfortable. The owners make you very welcome at their B&B. The room
I stayed in the "Orange" room was spacious, included an
outdoor area (small and nice to get the fresh air). The bathroom, new
and modern, also provided a color therapy shower experience. Carella is
placed in the central business district of Palermo and isjust a short
walk to the restaurants and cafe's that Palermo offers to hungry

A brother sister duo run the b & b with obvious love and care. I've stayed in many places and you can feel which ones are run by people who care. This place radiates their kindness, thoughtfulness, and exquisite taste, in the renovation and day to day business of this charming establishment. it's housed in a two hundred year old building passed down to them from a grandfather. This is the best of Sicily and I highly recommend this establishment.
Very good place to stay! In the middle of the center of Palermo. Palermo is a very nice and beautiful city. Very nice people who like to tell you everything about Palermo. Very beautiful Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I would definitly come back to you and Palermo :-) !

Very original design and very good facilities - very confortable and clean.
Location is simply perfect. It allows you to get to all main places in the city within (maximum) 5-10m walk.
Very very friendly staff (who gave us great recommedations for restaurants, spots to visit, etc).
Would definitely stay there again.
Excellent location in heart of Palermo. Easy 20 minute walk from train station or get the bus from the airport and get off at the stop before the train station and it's only 10 minute walk from there. Great location to explore the city. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast selection available. Great size rooms.
The B&B was conveniently situated in a very quiet & historic apartment block within the old city of Palermo. The decor of the room & location were superb. We loved the 'Disco Shower' ! The staff were very helpful & friendly.We would definately stay here again.
The hotel is situated very well to shopping, restaurants and attractions. It is extremely clean and nice considering how inexpensive it is. The staff were very friendly and warm making me feel welcomed and cared for.

Very good location (angle Via Cavour and Via Roma), quiet although it is
on a crowded street, simple but nice, free wifi.

Décor wonderful. First couple seem to run the place really well but when
the sister took over, although she is lovely, the place was not the
same. Considering what we paid in Greece and Rome, we expected a lot
better service wise. Our room had a spa bath, very nice, we would have
just as happy with a shower.
There are two flights of stairs to B&B Carella. I had two heavy bags
and have limited mobility. If making arrangements with the owners for
assistance or for taxi to airport, make sure that your request is
understood correctly as English is not their spoken language. I was not
taken to the bus which I had asked to arrange but instead had to pay
full taxi fare to Palermo Airport at cost of around Euro 30.00 or 40.00.
The bus costs around Euro 6.50.

Housekeeping was a little slow. I had to forage for toilet roll ! The toiletries provided could have been better quality. Sachets are never a good idea.
The bed was a little bit uncomfortable. It is a little difficult to find since there isn't a large sign on the outside. Also, I may have missed this prior to my arrival, but the hotel doesn't take credit cards. Thankfully, I had enough cash on me to pay the bill.
Very difficult to find parking.
Difficult to find, not signposted very well but I believe this is going
to change with some clear signage outside premises and maps on website.
The premises is in key strategic position to get to various places,
ideal location.
Parking is a problem.
Our room was dim and toilet was too dim - I prefer not to have the fancy disco lighting. Not much shelf or drawer space nor soap dish. Toilet roll was thin and runs out quickly with no spare roll in toilet. Fancy decorations in room which might suit some guests but I prefer brighter room with more basic features. Not very healthy breakfast - too much sweet biscuits and old and some spoilt fruits.
1St day great, 2nd day reasonable. 3Rd day, room not cleaned very well,
no toilet paper, wet towel not removed. 4Th day. Room not cleaned at
all. Fridge is a very small portable thing. Does not get cold and
considering the cost spent on the décor, a proper fridge would not break
the bank. A fridge is necessary, as B&B does not have a bar.
