  We loved our week at this lovely hotel. A delicious 3 course home cooked meal every evening after a walk in the mountains was fabulous. Wifi was ok in the room and excellent in the bar where we enjoyed a beer or coffee. There are many walks directly from the hotel including a lovely stroll through the forest to the nearest village and some tougher... mitä ihmiset sanovat » mountain walks. The walk around Lago di Braies is spectacular. Gailerhof is a really lovely place to stay ... highly recommended. - We arrived late. Someone came to the station to meet us. Dinner was provided inspite of us arriving after the restaurant had closed. We chose the hotel because it is close to the start of Alta Via 1. On the Sunday morning the owner drove us to Lago di Braes. Even though our visit was for only a single night the owners could not have been more freindly and helpful.
