  Martano is a cozy little town, with no stress and very friendly people. We had a great base there for expoloring the surrounding areas. Salento is a beatiful region. Borgoterra was a great place to stay, with all the necessary amenities and yet totally different from other your usual hotels or B&B - it has a special feel to it as it is a small... mitä ihmiset sanovat » castle. We also had a terrace which was a great plus. Breakfast was served in a nearby cafeteria. - Very beautiful room (a small flat actually) with all the comforts, and a balcony full of flowers. Decorated as if it was a real home. Ideal for those that wish to rest and spend some time to their accomodation except from getting out and sightseeing.
