The BnB is very clean and spacious, there is even a computer in the common area with a printer and books to refer to which we thought was very thoughtful and helpful.The BnB is on a quiet street near the termini. The hotel is situated close to the Termini station, so there is no need to take a taxi.   We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet.   We stayed in the one bedroom suites with one double bed and a bunk bed. We booked the room just before we took the night train from Venice to Rome so I was not possible to check email at night.   I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Porta B&B. It is only a short walk away from Bologna metro station, and three stops from Termini. My room was pleasant, and there was even a fridge and a microwave in the room. Breakfast was provided at the bar around the corner; a coffee/cappuccino and a sweet pastry. I've already booked a room at La Porta - Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the metro station Bologna. The railway station Triburtina only 1 metro station (direct connection to the airport). Close to the hotel there is also a supermarket (Tuordi) when you can buy cheap. The breakfast is served in a bar near the hotel - you can choose any cake as well as cappucino or mineral water. Good value for your money.

We had some difficulty with the guy at the desk and no English, but it just added to the charm of knowing you were in Italy.
