The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area.   "At forty-one" is not a "classic" hotel but 6 luxurious apartments in the forth floor of a nice building just 100m from the metro and within walking distance from everything in Rome. Fantastic customer service; looked after from well before our arrival. Decoration is in accordance to what is published. Breakfast was nice but not great, it can be improved, although the freshly baked croissants and the roman-style focaccia were very yummy. In short, I loved my stay and next time in Rome I know where to go. ;-)

  The location of Dolce Vita is perfect! You are right near the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps! There are many restaurants, cafes and a supermarket nearby. Taxis and buses very close too. The hotel did a load of washing for me for only 5euro which was great! - Perfect for a family with young children. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for breakfast in our apartment. The apartment was very modern and updated but still charming. Staff was the highlight - super recommendations for tours and restaurants; very helpful - told us exactly the fare to pay for the taxi; extremely accommodating when we arrived at midnight after a late flight - we will definitely return!
