  I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Room was perfect, with a good bed and bathroom, big TV and nice balcony. Everything was cleaned daily. Roberto, the owner and his daughter and son are very friendly and helpful.   We were positively surprised when we saw our room, it was much bigger than any ordinary three/four stars hotel, everything was clean, nicely designed. The bathroom is separated from the room, but it's just across the corridor, with everything you need. We were very satisfied to stay there, the Place is quiet, close to colosseum(from Domus Carmanello we walked basically - We arrived late and the owners were fine for us to check in late. They were both very friendly and gave us lots of info and the best ways to get around. The hotel is walking distance from the colosseum and roman forum and is also right next to Saint Giovanni metro for people who would prefer not to walk.   What an amazing hotel! Very friendly owner who was knowledgeable and helpful. Although the area was a little rough around the edges, it was always pretty busy and as 2 girls travelling together, always felt safe. Also, there is a huge door on the street which once you were inside made you feel extra secure, so would recommend highly to any females... mitä ihmiset sanovat » travelling either alone or as a group. Really comfortable beds, we had the best view of outside as we were on the corner. Excellent aircon which was - Although it is said that this part of Rome is not so safe, the location of the hotel was perfect. Not for one moment we felt unsafe. It's a 15 minute walk to the ancient centre of Rome and Termini station. Metro station, right under the hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and very clean room. Good typical Italian breakfast, deliverd to your room.
