All sights are walkable from this central location. A tip for - We stayed at the Pantheon Royal Suite this past February. It was very clean, and a great hotel for a family of 4. They provided us with plenty of towels daily and the mini bar items were free!! We found the room very spacious and had a beautiful view of the Pantheon piazza down below. The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and took a cab only to the Vatican. Cabs are very convenient as they are always parked on the street of the piazza. As they say location is everything

Usually when I travel with groups or solo, the hotels are 4 stars but when I have chosen this hotel I was totally right that the hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet as 2 * hotel is worth €10 as in 4 * hotel.   Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
