  I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window. But I thought it was too expensive for what it was - €170 a night is a lot for a very unpretentious place. - Fantastic room, not in the actual hotel. View of Panthenon, wow! Good security.

  It was a very good location. Although we passed the door once and had to go back. The first impression when entering the main door was not the best. But then when we entered the door to The Pantheon Relais it was a different world. So elegant,nice and comfortable. The room had been refurbished 3-4 months ago and was so nice.that goes for the bathroom as well. - Great location and good value for price. Very thoughtful about details that a traveler might forget such as toothbrush and razor. We were offered the arrangement of a private transfer from the airport on arrival and that was incredibly helpful after an 8 hour overnight flight. Cost of that was also very reasonable by North American comparison. They made this a perfect start to our vacation.

  When you go to a hotel like this, you pay first of all for the location. You should be prepared that any additional perks must be considered as an extra bonus. But this hotel has many. We got the junior suite, which was very spacious. The room was beautifully decorated: a parquet floor and artistic stucco on the walls.   Hotel Mimosa Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address.   Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... mitä ihmiset sanovat » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  The location, top notch! The flexibility offered by it's proximity to numerous of the important and historical sights of Rome, made Hotel Adriano the best hotel option for us. We highly recommend Hotel Adriano to all travelers.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.

First off, the location was perfect. From the Piazza del Gesu you can walk everywhere on your tourist map. The only time we cabbed was to go back and forth to the Vatican. The service was excellent. We had some difficulty with the guy at the desk and no English, but it just added to the charm of knowing you were in Italy. The breakfast was enormous and catered to gluten free (as does everyone in Rome)
