  Actually the hotel is composed of some rooms in some floor of some Scala of some building close to Vatican and all the staff are just a lovely sympathetic Italian man who speaks better by hands and mime rather than English and a woman comes daily to clean the rooms.   They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Loved the room and the fact that there was an accessible laptop for guests and a phone in our room. We had a glitch with our cell service and did not have access to our own phone on the trip so this was very helpful. Room was great! Clean, homey, attractively decorated, comfortabl... Our host, when hearing that we would not be available when he normally brought guests breakfast, brought us breakfast groce - It is hard to evaluate this place, as there were a few problems with our stay. We arrived early and left our bags, but were only able to do that because the cleaning lady was there. When we returned after a long day, the manager did not answer knocking on his door. I walked over 4 blocks to find someone who would help me call him -- he answered the phone call and my rescuer worked out getting me in. He was very nice, but didn't speak any English - we didn't speak any Italian, so there were some

  Staff very friendly and very helpful, we even got a small present during our stay. There's also a spa with saunas in the hotel. Location is good, near Vaticano, metro and shopping street. Breakfast is served on the third floor with a terrace, which is very nice in a good weather and there's a roof in case of rain. The hotel is close to the Metro station and to the Vatikan. We had a nice, quiet room to the backside of the hotel.
