  The hotel was new, fresh and clean. The location was perfect for the old port area in Genua and the hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful.   The staff were really really great!!! They allowed us to store our bags with them for 3 days while we travelled to the Cinque Terre. They were really helpful in advising us things to do in Genoa and places to go for dinner (the rec for Soho was great! Probably the best meal we had!) It's a typical European room (i.e., small bedroom, small bathroom... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ), but it had AC (which was necessary) and the hotel is in a great location, only a minute to Via Garibaldi and 5 or so mins to Piazza de Ferrari and - The hotel's central location in Genoa was its biggest benefit. Walking distance from the main train station, and very accessible to all that the old city of Genoa has to offer. Plenty of food options close by, as well as the funicular to the surrounding areas. The quirky retro feel of the hotel with original art was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean and all staff/owners very polite and helpful.

  The staff were fantastic. Always greeting you with a smile and saying hello. They seemed to enjoy their job and remembered who was from which country. The rooms were extremely spacious and very very clean. They cleaned them everyday. The airconditioning was fantastic as it was 30 degrees outside the days I was there.   Was a nice small hotel with an Italian flair. Different from what one would expect from the us, but that is what made it neat. Staff very accommodating and while they gave me a break on WiFi, it would have been nice if it were included. Ten Euro's apiece for a continental breakfast was really pricey when you could get a couple of croissants and to... mitä ihmiset sanovat » coffees for four or five Euro's at any of the little eateries along the street. All said and done, was a nice stay and would stay there again. - Staff could speak English well and customer service was great. The girl on the counter explained a great walking tour and marked up a map in detail. I did not get lost!!!! Location was fantastic. Because it is so close to GenoaPiazza I did my research on google maps and found the place easily from the station. Easy walk to all the city sights including the main piazza.

  Excellent Location - Easy to find, good central location. The Hotel Staff were very proficient. Room and bathroom ( showers rather smallish ) was large by comparison to others in Italy
