A number of nice cafes around, with a pizza restaurant next door that can deliver food to your hotel room free of charge.   We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! Located right in the heart of Rome - literally 5min walk or less from the Colosseum and so close to everything else it was perfect - we walked everywhere! Though if you need the Metro is right there. The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet. Comfortable beds and alot of space. We were in the suite so we also hade a fridge and a little pentry. Good cleaning eve

  When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready).   We enjoyed our stay in this small and cosy hotel very much indeed. They kept our reservation even there was some kind of an issue with the credit card provided. The staff, especially Mimmo (I think) at the reception were just great, always smiling and always ready and willing to help. There was no tv in the room, but that wasn't really a big deal. The batroom was spacious and nice as well.
