  Location is right in the centre near Arena. The hotel is very cute in an ancient building. Two stylish old ladies at the reception ( the owners I guess ) were very friendly. They gave us a discount while we were paying as we missed our breakfast. And we were asked to pay at check out.   We had a wonderful 2 nights in the Residenza Madonna apartments. It was a really sweet cosy place & excellent value for money. Our apartment was a really lovely mix of old Verona & modern facilities. Fabio, the owner met us at the front door & showed us around before leaving us to it. We bought fresh homemade r - The apartment cannot be more central! It is amazing, cozy and very posh. When you go down stairs from the apartment there are a lot of restaurants for any taste plus the guy Julio who is meeting guests is better that any receptionist in any hotel. He is helping with everything and if you call him he can be there any minute;) thanks a lot for an amazing stay;)

  The owner, Romeo, became a friend more than a host. He provided tons of info about the sightseeing, the culture and the history of Verona. Room was nice and clean. We got the room with the patio: it wasn't larger than a balcony but had a table, an umbrella, two chairs and a lamp, which allowed us to rest and have our meals there. Nearest Veronabike stop is 20 minutes of walking away but we didn't mind walking that distance every day for one week because the area is quiet and - This is the best recommendation I've given so far. the host is very thoughtful and friendly, advised many things about the city and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Rooms are nice, very clean and quiet. very good Internet connection and air-conditioning. I stayed for 2 nights and for me it was perfect. It's easy to get to the center and I actually prefer it is located not directly in the city center. I definetely would come back if I was around.
