  Alessia, the host, was amazingly friendly and helpful. Perugia is a beautiful hilltop town and Alessia made our stay even better. The apartment is located on the north edge of centro about a 5min walk to the main piazza. The room we got was large, homely and comfortable. It was also air conditioned and had a little balcony we could sit outside.   Most of all, the family who own and run this B&B care about their guests and went out of their to make our stay in Perugia even more enjoyable. For rexample, Michele ensured we had a parking space for our car at all times, right near the hotel. He was also very keen to talk with us about Italian/Perugian culture, economics, politics etc. His e... mitä ihmiset sanovat » xcellent English made it very easy for us. Our room was a good size, and well appointed. It was only a 2 minute walk to the main Piazza. Great value - Everything! The family who own the guest house are super friendly and helpful. The decor and furnishings lovely, especially the many antiques. I had a corner room with great views from its 2 windows. Perugia is a wonderful city and Assisi is just a 20min train ride away and Spello another 10 mins, so this makes for a great base to explore the area. I ate some fabulous meals at Cantinone, a restaurant recommended by the owner. If I come back to Perugia it will be to stay at Hotel Morlacchi

My room had an enclosed solarium with a real live rubber tree. Lovely old former palace. Good breakfast. No English spoken, but the signora is most friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to the mini-train that connects with the train station.
