  We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We soon found that he meant to drive his cab to the hotel ( lots of winding narrow roads, took about 45 minutes). The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). The hotel has its own heated swimming pools and one is inside so even if the weather isn't great you can still relax. Although a bit out from the old town where most of the restaurants and bars are (about 10 minutes walk) it's only a short walk to the beach and there is a bus stop right outside to get you into town (just 3 stops) or around the island.
