I love the region of Lake Mergozzo for many decades and deliberately booked the hotel "Due Palme" because of its favorable location, however I had encountered a series of negative feedbacks on the internet.
I booked anyway and it was a very good decision, because I have experienced an extremely friendly and relaxing stay.
