I liked La Residenza di Michelangelo because it`s really clean - they really keep high standards regarding room maintenance! Second, I would recommend this place to anyone planing a sightseeing tour of Florence like I was - after a day of walking through Florentine streets and museums it`s a blessing to be situated this near to all the main attractions (San Lorenzo is c. 5 min. away, Il Duomo c. 10 min. away...). Extremely clean and modern rooms, great staff, good location. Room came
with fridge (although it wasn't very cold), hair dryer, shower
essentials and coffee, tea, small packaged pastries, etc. La Residenza
just opened last September and it shows--everything smells new! Some
more tips for travelers: Angela and her staff are only there during
limited hours but we didn't have any special needs. There is also an
elevator to the 2nd floor for those with big luggage. Oh, and water
pressure was excell.
Everything is ok in this hotel. Best i've seen for this money in Italy. Best location - close to station, famous places and boutiques, restaurents and market. Very clean and modern. Nice and polite staff. Big room and bathroom, everything is in good condition. Breakfast is in cosy cafe downstairs. Next time in Florence only in this hotel.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.This is the first hotel where
they explained us as first timers the city, places to visit, maps,
places to eat and shop As this is a BnB the breakfast served in the
small cafe downstairs was good.This place also offer some drinks and
nice cookies (to be paid)

The location of the accommodation was fantastic. 200 meters from the train station and a lift to take us to the second floor.
Sandro and his wife were amazing hosts and gave us great advice on where to go and great places to eat.
The bathroom was a great size and the shower and hot water were fantastic.
I really liked my stay here. The room is just perfect. It is modern and clean. The bed is very comfy. Minibar is free. Very good WIFI connection. Location is close to everything. Alessandro from the reception was very nice and very helpful. If I go back to Firenze, would definitely stay here again.
I loved the location. I thought the hotel was easy to find and convenient to the train station and bus as well as the market. The coffee shop next door for breakfast was good and convenient. It was a typical Italian coffee bar and that is good for US travelers who are not used to that.
It's very well located and the room + bathroom were excellent. Alessandro who works there was very helpful indicating us perfect places to eat, have some drinks & a great gelato :-) I was very happy with my choice & recommend easily to other people visiting beautiful Firenze!.

Angela is very nice lady and she will provide you the map upon check in and point out all the attraction area for you to visit. The breakfast is just at a pub which is just downstair of the B&B. The B&B location is very near to the train station about 5mins by walk.

Perfect location (close to S.M.N Railway Station, Mercato Centrale, Duomo and most sights), very clean hotel, friendly and polite staff (they even give you advice and information on various attractions).

Freshly repaired, with brand new furniture these apartments located in
less than 5 min walk from smn train station and in 10 min walk from
Duomo. I was lucky to get a room facing a small narrow street, other
options are - with windows to 4sqm yard or to Via Nationale with its
bars. If you are cold in your room, it could take some time for the
staff to regulate new sophisticated heating system.
The location is about 300m from the train station. An easy walk to
almost everywhere in Florence.
Complimentary bottled water in the mini-bar was a nice touch.
The owner, Angela, is friendly & always willing to help answer any questions we had. A true service industry professional!.

We have difficult to find the B&B because their block number is not in sequence! But this is not the B&B fault... The room is doen't provide slippers, we felt cold when walking in the room in winter time.

I liked everything about this accommodation. A word of warning.......Hold on to your handbag in Florence! My purse was stolen when I was distracted for only a minute.

Breakfast served in a next-door bar was a coffee and some bakery.
This is probably true of most smaller hotels and B&Bs in Italy, but
I still find it annoying that the room temperature is centrally
regulated. In this case, there was an air-conditioner but no remote
control was provided! Unfortunately, the room faced the street & we
could not keep the window open because of the noise. It would have been
fine for 1 night, but 3 sleepless nights was tough. This was probably
the biggest downside of our stay.
This is not a hotel but it is a bed and breakfast. It is not in the best location. At night there was constant traffic with very loud street noise. The windows offered no noise protection whatsoever.
