Giuliana was sooooo nice! Not only did she show us our room, explained our to use the keys, she also recommended various really good restaurants and gelaterias and marked everything on our map.The B&B itself is old ( according to Giuliana, it was built in the 16th century) but very clean and comfortable. Its location is right in the historical center and everything is in walking distance. It takes roughly 15 mins to walk from the train station, but if you have a lot of luggage you can also .

From the moment a friendly face met us at the door, to the time of our departure when our bags had been stored whilst we wandered for the last time after check-out, we appreciated everything about A Florence View. Check-in and check-out were smooth, Giuliana and her staff were welcoming and efficient, and our room very much matched the description provided of the B&B. It was a delight to eat our breakfast in our room whilst gazing out at the Duomo, Baptistry and Piazza, and to have suc. I will definitely stay this hotel again when I visit Florence. I believe the hotel is on the best location in Florence: just in front of Duomo and less than ten minutes away from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, Galleria degli Uffizi, and Galleria dell' Accademia. The hotel staff was very very kind, helpful, and friendly. She tought me a couple of nice restaurants that local residents love and all of them were actually good. We stayed the room on the third floor and the view from it was. Everything was perfect. Leonardo, the owner - a lovely man, verrry attentive and welcoming. Our room was stunning, spacious and comfortable, in my favorite shades of green, with very nice furniture and a wonderful bathroom. Breakfast was great, it was lovely to have inroom breakfast looking at Duomo out the window .The whole atmosphere of this building is very warm, still remember the scent of Profumi del Forte, home fragrance that was in the hall. I'm not saying anything about the best loc. The B & B is in an fine old building right next to the dome. Great location. The rooms have antique furniture and a beautifull tile stoves. The B & B has only a few rooms which gives it a quite familiar atmosphere. A tasty and full breakfast is being brought to the room. Good Wi-Fi reception without extra charge. In the rooms that look to the back you don’t have the great view onto the piazza but they are much quieter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is air conditioning in. Super Location! Almost walking distance to every point of interests, for the first time visitor, it is a great location to explore the city, the travel spots, the italian food, ice cream and shopping! Safe place. It's important for the travelers from Asia as well. The B&B is just on the square with a restaurant right beside ( the restaurant looks decent but very bad service and cheat travelers) so it's even safe at night. Good service, our thanks goes to Guiliana, she is very nice Italian . The staff was great. The Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was wonderful, and the location was perfect. Being right on the main piazza meant it was impossible to get lost. We always could find our hotel! The air conditioning worked when we needed it, and it was possible to open windows and use the balcony when we didn'T. We would stay here again and highly recommend this B&B to other travelers. We came in by train and made our way from Santa Maria Novella to the B&B (withour luggage) with . The attention provided by Juiliana and Leonardo was perfect. We were provided with guidance on driving into and parking in Florence which is essential. The tips on best cafés and sightseeing were an ideal selection for our three day visit. Breakfast was a heathy selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissant, ham and cheese and eggs if desired as well as juice and coffee. The location is second to none and the accommodation in the old building provides an authentic Florence experience. This location was in the square with the duomo. You can't get closer to the action than this. Walking out the door to the hotel, you could do any tourist activity you wanted. The room we stayed in was luxurious and more like a suite. It had it's own porch and two separate sitting rooms. I expected a lack of space, but was happily surprised. They may have other units smaller, but the one we were in was fabulous. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and make every effort to make guests comfortable. We were delighted to be there. Nice breakfast which they bring to your room. We had a nice surprise as they upgraded us so we could have the wonderful view of Santa maria del fiore. I loved the fact the place was warm as in December it is quite cold in Firenze. The location could not be better! Piazza San Giovanni!!. Gorgeously appointed little rooms with stuccoed ceilings and antique furniture. We had a room with the courtyard view, which really wasn't much of a view but the room was beautiful. The hosts were so gracious and location could not have been better. Breakfast is even served in your room. We have stayed at a number of hotels in Florence and this is the one we will certainly return to. Highly recommend this B'&B! Very friendly, personable and accomodating B&B hosts! The hosts gave us a thourough review of places and restaurants to visit in the city, they answered any and every questions we had. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Refrigerator and safe in room is a plus! Wonderful tray full of breakfast each morning to your preference. Position absolutely fantastic with direct view on the Duomo and Battistero. Although the central location, the outside noise is not bothering (very good windows). The owners are very friendly and kind, paying a lot of attention to details. Rich breakfast served in the room. Clean room with AC. We would definitely return here. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They offered to help us with whatever we needed. We had keys so we could come and go. The location is so central that it made it easy to come back to drop stuff off or take a short nap. The view out of our window was wonderful! It was a great place to stay. Our host was great! She was very helpful and as darling as she could be. She made us breakfast every morning which was the best we had in our 2 weeks in Italy. The location could not be better and the room was very nice. Our favorite hotel/B&B we stayed at!. the main staff brought us breakfast every morning, so we had breakfast in bed, not to mention the hotel was right in the centre of the piazza duomo! it was basically close to everything and the view was excellent, u could see the duomo thru ur window. The location however meant that you couldn't park too close, and the crowds in the square kept it noisy beyond 1am. The room was up 3 stories I believe. If you're athletic, no problem. Might be an issue if you were elderly and wanted to go to your room 3 times a day. Everything was perfect. Maybe a slight thing we noticed a little bit of smell in the room when we first entered but one could hardly expect any better for the price. We would definitely come back and recommend the place to anybody looking for comfort on a budget. Not too much that I can remember that I didn't like. we didnt not like anything. We loved everything. Cannot think of anything I didn't like. Nothing. our friends had a room with a view of the skylight where the smell was coming from sewage. Nothing. No negatives. There was nothing I didn't like. The downside of the city view rooms of course is that there is some noise outside at night. Swampy smell in bathroom next day. Nothing. Nothing. Two story walk up to the bottom floor of the B&B. Nothing!!!. The square that our window opened out onto is very active and loud until late at night (2 pm), so if you try to go to bed before then it can be hard to sleep with all the noise. When we closed the windows an shutters and curtains noise level went down--this was very minor!. Nothing. Everything was more than we expected!. Lots of street noise - you might want to invest in earplugs. Nothing, everything was great. Nothing. Nothng.
