Set on the seafront in Diamante, the Ferretti features an outdoor pool, sun terrace, and private beach. Its spacious rooms come with Sky channels and a balcony. Parking is free. All air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Ferretti have cool tiled floors and a private bathroom. Some rooms overlook the garden, others have sea views. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. A varied breakfast buffet is available daily, and includes fresh pastries, fruit and cappuccino coffee. The restaurant is open every evening and serves Calabrian and Italian food and wine. Guests can rent parasols and sun loungers at the private beach, just 10 metres away. Trains to Cosenza and Naples stop at Diamante-Buonvicino Station, a 12-minute walk away. The hotel runs a free shuttle service to the station, and transfers to Lamezia Airport are available upon request.

Location was very good, right across the road from the beach. How can this hotel have 4 stars? It looks fine from the outside but is in serious need of a make-over to drag it into the 21st century. It is very dated and the rooms are very basic almost like those you would find in a hostel. Furnishings were very basic and the beds were narrow and not very comfortable. Breakfast was ok but this being Italy there was a heavy concentration on pastries. Staff were pleasant but not very professional. Hotel was very empty while we were there.
