Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins
away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private
parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be
safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering
the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in
room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're
not looking for luxury but the basics you need

Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. He gave us recommendations of Catania.
The room was just excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town.

Hotel is absolutely fantastic. you can realy feel like home. Big rooms, all day acces to the kitchen, clean. It is in the center so it is noisy from the street but after dinner its becoming quiet. You have 5 minutes to main road and restaurants. The street market with fresh fruits, chees, seafoodis round the corner. Staff is unbelivebly friendly and it was the best hoteli have ever been. Feels like home!

The hotel is on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.
