The warmth of the welcome we received from Alessandro, the proprietor. We had v little Italian, yet managed to have enjoyable chats with him every day. He could not have attended more to making sure we were comfortable. Our room was fairly simple, but v clean and comfortable. The views from the dining room are breath-taking and the evening menu was absolutely delicious. As for value!
