  We originally had planned on staying in downtown Bozen/Bolzano, but instead opted to stay at Hotel Wunder up on the mountain and am very happy that we made this decision. Hotel Wunder has very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and great views of the mountains and surrounding towns. We happened to be there on Trinity Sunday and got to watch... mitä ihmiset sanovat » the church parade and band march below our balcony, which was a real treat. The rooms come have a decent sized closet for your clothes, which was go - Very nice and lovely hotel. The location and views are beautiful. The room was large and comfortable. Very clean. Friendly personal. Good breakfast. We also enjoyed the meals in the evening. The Ritten Card we got at arriving had a great value for us. We used it on the Ritten Horn cable car, twice went down to Bolzano and back by Bolzano-Soprabolzano cable car, took a bus in Bolzano and got a free admission to museums. We'll definitely recommend the hotel to our friends.
