The location is right in the heart of Assisi. This is an old building hence the room is not very big, however it still works well for us. The environment is very cozy. Breakfast is buffet style and the choice is good. Coffee is great. We liked the owner, he's very helpful and kind. Definitely going back if we visit Assisi again. We are Americans living temprarily in Italy. When I saw only two stars I was a little bit hesitant. But the long stone step path with flower vases on sides on the pictures won my heart! And we loved the place: beautiful interior, big room, very nice and helpful owner and in the heart of the city. Definitly will use it again.
kaikki arvostelut » The owner Vincenzo gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent hints. He was so friendly and kind that we felt like friends. The location was amazing. The hotel itself was romantic and very quiet. The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful. We loved it and want to return. Beautiful little hotel tucked in a little grotto, next to an art gallery, off a quiet street of the historical centre of Assisi. Full of character. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The owner was particularly warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a beautiful stay. The owner was so friendly and helpful, I wish I had taken his picture to help remember him. The room and food is fantastic, and we loved walking around Assisi and returning to our beautiful hotel for a rest. Highly recommended. The hotel is just perfect. The owner was always very nice to my wife and I. The breakfast was always good and plenty to eat. The hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful city of Assisi. The staff were extremely helpful in every way. The owner even offered us a better room after arriving. The location was fabulous- right in the heart of the ancient city of Assisi. Breathtaking!. Good value for money, friendly,helpful staff,great location,spacious,cosy and clean room,good breakfast and restaurant owned by hotel had lovely food. Great spot for all who want to visit Assisi. Really nice and devoted staff. We couldn't connect to Wi-Fi at first, but it worked out eventually. Friendly owner, Vincenzo, is attentive and there to help you. Attention to details and very clean are top attributes. Location and the very good reception of Vincenzo and the attention he gave us because of our daughter disease. Friendly reception, we were given a free upgrade. Good location and great management. everything. Close to St. Francis Basilica. Location was very nice, in the very centre of Assisi, everything on your finger tips. The bathroom in the Suite was a bit small. The inconvenience was worth it, because the suite was very romantic. Nothing. It was perfect. The bed was a little too hard for my husband. Wifi signal very weak and often non existent in room but this is because the building is old and the walls are thick.however, it is very fast in the lobby. The shower in our bathroom was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that everything was great. Nothing. There was no fridge/minibar (we wanted to buy some local food such as cheese and prosciutto, but didn't do that as there was no place to store). Although I'm sure we could ask our helpful hotel owner to resolve this problem and he would do his best!!! Do not expect various plates for breakfast! For italians breakfast is a cup of cappuccino with croissant only!!!. I liked everything. we had booked the twin room , on arrival we where not happy with this room because of the small size of it. the owner upgraded us to a bigger room at extra cost .would not recommend booking the twin room. all other rooms where lovely and good size. As the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, it would be useful to indicate the address of the nearest (public) parking so that travellers can use their satnav to locate it. We picked the wrong one and had to walk 1 km steep uphill. Nothing. the hassle to park near the hotel but worth it. no air conditioner!!! during the summer - it's crazy. -Staff not there 24 hours and wasn't present on arrival. -only one room key available for triple room. -asked to be paid the night before although room was reserved with credit card....reason is because owner was not going to be present in the morning for checkout. -internet did not work. Almost everything, I just don't have enough time to write everything. From the beginning (couldn't find anyone in the hotel for half an hour, provided phone number didn't work) to the end (poor breakfasts) it was a dissapointing stay. Owners didn't solve any of the problems which we stated for them. And avoid eating in the restaurant owned by the same owners. It is really overpriced, has no view, quality of food is really poor (we found many giant pieces of pure salt in EVERY of our dishes).
