  It was an apartment, redesigned by the owner, with very good taste. Everything we can think of was available for us in the house. He and his wife were very helpfull and friendly, and he has a shop right below, so you can find him easily. Parking can be tricky, but at the right time of day you can park freely right on the front of the building. I wa - The room was very large and comfortable. The facilities were superb. The fridge was fully laden with water cheese ham yogurts milk cold drinks, and the cupboard was stacked with bread croissants cutlery tea coffee. More than enough. We had a fine balcony and although it overlooked the street, it was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a tea time drink. It is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the front and the old town. Couldn't fault it.

  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  Agriturismo Vessus is very close to Alghero, just 2 minutes by car to the city border and about 4 minutes to the old city. The room design and equipment was very authentic sardinian and up to date. Everything was in very good shape. The whole place was outstanding clean and tidy, although we were the first guests in this season.   Great and very attentive owner!!! Nice rooms (London) - everything was present, the same for in-room bathroom. Windows open to the calm garden where you have breakfast. No a/c but we did not even need it, even though days were very hot (August 2013). It's not in the centre, buth rather close to it (10-15 mins walking). Definitely recommend - Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, lovely patio area where we had breakfast. Owners very friendly.
