We did not rent a car but stayed at the Marian house for 10 days for we loved it so much we decided to use it as our home base. The Marian house is centrally located on a quiet side street with magnificent views of the mountains. The room was spacious and very comfortable. After our travels we would gather back at the sitting room by the peat burning fire place and often chat with the wonderful hosts. When we left we felt as if we were leaving family behind for we so loved our hosts. We plan to.
kaikki arvostelut » We loved the hospitality of Breda and the other staff at Marion's B&B. They were incredibly helpful and friendly and assisted us greatly with directions to local sights as well as where to locate stuff in town. We stayed up talking late into the night with Breda who shared so many insights into life in Ireland. This really made our stay in Killarney very special and we will definitely be back to visit if we pass through again. The staff were excellent, being Australian and coming from the tropics we have found Ireland lovely but rather cold. Brenda went out of her way, when we went out to have dinner she knew we were cold and kindly placed a hot water bottle in our bed. How kind of her. Very kind and helpful. Breda, the landlady, and her helper, Andrada, were wonderful. The lounge was delightful, warm and welcoming, and tea and coffee were always available. Wi-fi in the lounge good. only 10 minute walk to town. But quiet area. Good breakfast. Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. Even got lift to station on last morning! very nice place to stay. We stayed here with my husband and 2 months old baby. We really enjoyed staying at Marian House! the staff was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable. Rooms basic and needed renovation/improvement. Inappropriate notices about what not to do in your room. No internet. Very small bathroom.
