Paul and Catherine are some of the nicest people I encountered in my
entire trip to Ireland. I cannot speak highly enough of their kindness,
their service and the degree of welcome that they provide. They went
well above and beyond to make me feel at home--even going so far as to
personally give me a ride to make sure I would not miss my bus. 6 stars
out of five.
Being from the US and not familiar with home styles in Ireland, the photos made me a little unsure of this place. Don't be fooled--t. kaikki arvostelut »
Pat and Catherine are extremely friendly and helpful in assisting you in whatever plans you may have. They're accommodating in your schedule and seem sincerely dedicated to ensuring that your stay is as ideal as possible. The wifi is super-fast (which we found to be a rarity at other B&B's). They have a full breakfast menu, which is included in the cost of your stay. Continental breakfast is available all morning and menu items are made to order, quickly.
A wonderful place to stay in Galway, quiet and impeccably clean. Patrick and Catherine are the perfect hosts, making sure that you are comfortably settled in. Their house is a few minutes from the sea. The promenade along the beach takes you straight into Galway. Patrick and Catherine's advice as to where to have dinner, what to visit, how to visit etc was much appreciated.
We loved our stay here. Pat and Catherine (and Rory) were incredibly
friendly and helpful with our many questions. We felt very much at home.
We were even greeted by name at the door with Irish tea and cake. The
breakfast was also delicious! We also enjoyed the location: on the coast
but still walking distance to Galway. I cannot say enough good things
about Cappa Veagh.
It seems each piece of decor was all put together with a great care and I could see how much hard the hosts would try to give their hearty welcome to the guests.
Catherine is a great cook and I couldn’t resist her delicious breakfast, even though my jeans was feeling a bit tight around my waist;-).
The rooms were large and Catherine and Pat were excellent hosts. Breakfast was great especially Catherine's yummy porridge and they were especially helpful with local information. The house was immaculate and close to the nearby Salthill area.
Pat and Catherine couldn't have been nicer or more hospitable. Pat was very helpful with directions and all of our questions. Very, very clean and comfortable. The best B&B experience we have ever had.
The proprietors Pat and Catherine were very pleasant and accomodating. The bedroom was beautiful and cosy. Catherine gave us lovely fresh scones and coffee on arrival. I'll definitely return.
We liked the nice large room, the views of the city, the convenient placement of an outlet with a mirror for doing hair, the great breakfasts, and our charming host.
B&B hosts are welcoming and friendly and are providing nice
information about their area. Breakfast are excellent, try the
Catherine's special. You have to go.

Everything.
My only negatives were that we were unable to connect to their WiFi on
our iPhones, which was a bit inconvenient. The bathroom was also quite
small, and the shower a bit cramped.
Nothing.
Room a bit small. Galway center is accessible, but at 25 minutes walk.
Nothing.
Bathroom was very small but after all your only in to shower and use the toilet not hold a meeting!.
Shower was very small but small price to pay for a truly comfortable B&B at a affordable price.
