Bernadette and Padraigh are the best hosts in the Dublin area. We considered that the location (halfway between the airport and downtown - 10 minute trip) was perfect. The Dublin buses (and the Dublin bus pass) were a great way to see the city. Bernadette provided a delicious breakfast each morning, the best scones and fruit salad we had on our entire trip! The room was large, sunny and most comfortable. If you don't want to pay the high downtown hotel prices you should consider this B and. kaikki arvostelut »
This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.
This family owned business had just experienced a bereavement.the husband of the family had just recently died.despite this trauma, the staff and family coped well and were very accommodating.we had a room in azalea lodge, but took breakfast at ashling house, which the family ran, just over the road.
It was amazing and plenty of kindness from the owners , Bernadette and
Padraig, that make you feel like at home, fantastic breakfast and very
helpfull for any suggestions concerning visit the city and around
dublin. I will come back in the future.
Delicious breakfast. Great menu with great choices. The people who own the B&B were very helpful. The room was very comfortable. Easy and short ride to down town from the location of the B&B.
Perfect location, close to town and on the way to Dublin airport. Breakfast is simply delicious. Owners are both really kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!.
THE azalea lodge was in a great location for getting quickly to Dublin city center by bus and the airport was just minutes away.
A lovely B & B - and just out of the city on the way in from the Airport.
Good public transport outside the door.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is also good, and breakfast was great, especially scones!.
Comfortable and clean room, courteous staff, quiet and accessible to airport. Free wi-fi is an added bonus.
Proprietors were very friendly & helpful. Location suited our needs. Facilities catered for our needs.
The owners were really hospitable and friendly. Housekeeping was good. Wi-fi was working good.
Impeccably clean, very friendly owners, and wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Breakfast
Free WiFi that worked good !
Spar shop near the hotel.
Free Tea & Coffee 7/24.
The welcome with tea and scones, the delicious welcome and the helpful advice.
Very convenient location to the city and the airport.
Very friendly staff
Clean room, comfortable bed.
Owner"s attitude and help.
Clean.
I had read that it was noisy. If this is a concern for you ask for a room at the back of the property. We didn't have a problem sleeping.
Nothing.... all was great!!.
In the front rooms, you could hear the street noise, but I still slept fine.
Nothing!!!.
Could have included the cost of breakfast together in the room rate.
Nothing to report.
It's location was a little far away from city centre. Last bus was at 23:30 so when you turn back to there later than this time it was problem.
I was staying at the front room towards to street and there was a lot of noise coming from to street. If you have difficulty in falling into sleeping, it can be problematic.
Bed and/or mattress.
Noise in room (coming from a grill in the wall. It was a back side room).
No clear instructions on te/coffee making facilities or the breakfast service. The staff member at breakfast was too busy clearing up rather than telling the guest how the breakfast servic woks.
Small bathroom.
The price of breakfast was not included for this b &B. Paid €6.50
for continental breakfast and full Irish bf was €12.50. Parking was
limited. The hosts didn't volunteer time of breakfast or if we could
make a cup of tea.
No sound insulation, too noisy, lots of traffic noise. No tea making facility in room. Shower door very difficult to open. Not a pleasant stay.
How the owner entered our bedroom while she thought we were sleeping.
The manner in which both of them spoke to us.
