  I had plan to stay in Ubud 1 week but the guest house and the family are so great I extend for 8 more days. The owners are nice, the included breakfastS are simple but really amazing !, the location is perfect and the room more than acceptable especially for the price you pay. Queen or king bed, clean, hot water, wifi and nice furnitures. This place is just amazing with enjoyable r - The hotel feels more like a luxurious homestay than a hotel. The family is very, very friendly, and cook us breakfast every morning when we get up (so nothing like that "breakfast is from X to Y" stuff). In the morning, while we are still asleep, a thermos with boiled water is put on our porch table, so we can make coffee as soon as we're awake. The room is great, with a nice big fan, and built in such a way that it naturally keeps (relatively) cool. The hotel is located centrally in Ubud, but

  This family-run accommodation is a richly crafted-and-furnished pavilion consisting of two side-by-side bedrooms within a typical Balinese compound house. The owner and his family stay in other pavilions. It seems like the owner is not trying to make a profit but genuinely just wants everyone to have a nice time and loves engaging with people. They give you things for free like rides to the city, guided walks in the ricefields, and snacks, tea, and coffee that other places might charge for.
