I have absolutely no complains about Villa Arya. It was the nicest hotel I've ever seen. Friendly staff, gorgeous place, nice decoration, delicious food. If you like privacy, this is the perfect hotel for you. They only have five rooms. In 5 days I barely saw other guests although they were fully booked. They have shuttles to Ubud centre, can arrange tours, they even gave us a local mobile so we could communicate with them to request taxi or something. I'll come back to Bali and stay there agai.
kaikki arvostelut » Villa Arya is a small boutique hotel that is beautifully designed. Our room was very spacious yet cosy, with our own balcony that opens out into a garden oasis. In the morning we opened the balcony doors and let the morning breeze fill the room - so comfortable and relaxing. The staff are all extremely gracious and so hospitable. They arranged a lovely birthday surprise and made our stay complete. Friendly staff, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast area has big dining table next to kitchen where you can see staff preparing meals, it gives you a home stay feeling. Very quiet and peaceful. It is not close to central Ubud. But there is shuttle bus and you can rent scooter. If you are confident to ride among locals, get one. You can check local night market around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They would take our orders for breakfast the night before so that they could either deliver it straight to our room the next morning or be ready when we showed up at the coffee house. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. With only 5 villa's, it was very peaceful and well kept. The staff were all amazing and could not do enough to help. The villas were lovely and it was very serne and relaxing. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was good. The free shuttle into Ubud was good and cheap enough if you needed your own taxi. The staff are amazingly nice and personalized. Very helpful. The gado gado is a must try. Love the pool! Recommends to couple of group of friends. May be a little lonely for solo traveler. It is hidden away in a tiny street, and arriving on our own in the night, we spent an hour trying to find it... It is far away from the centre so it is great for a getaway. The TV reception is also not fantastic, but we didn't need much of it so that was fine. nothing. Small issue, But It would be better if they get the floor cleaner. They have free shuttle to downtown Ubud but is not very frequent. Too many termites flying in the garden during night with lights on; the location is a little difficutle to find and 15 min. By car to get to the center of Ubud. The location is difficult to find. No any instruction or sign about the Villa on the street.
