Loved the villa, the privacy and the peace and quiet. Ten minutes walk or cycle from the bars and restaurants, yet everything was available to you if you just wanted to stay home, and the villa was more than inviting for you to do just that. We stayed here in the last week of our two week trip (Bali first) and we really wished we had had our two weeks at Les Villas Ottalia. We will definitely be back.

We were at first put into accommodation known as a Lumbung these are cramped, dark and tiny with almost a ladder going from upper bedroom to the outdoor downstairs bathroom which is very steep. They are kind of a traditional Indo style place my friend and I decided this was not for us and asked to change the staff were most amenable and put us into a fab newer room one level with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.
