We had a great time on Gili and in Indigo bungalows! They have a nice swimming pool and 4 bungalows. She (Jules) is britisch and you can ask here anything, if she is around. Anthon is from Lombok and an entertainer, great man! Ask him to sing and play the gitar . Iksan, the boy who does all the stuff around the bungalows is also a great, so nice and you can ask him everything. The rooms are big, so is the bathroom. Great location! Just outside the busy mainstreet, and nearby the beach. We stayed in the wooden cabin, for a couple just perfect! After a busy day you can relax at the pool. Anton and " aunt" Bibi, also known as big mama are great hosts. The service is great, where anything is possible. Even for a great dinner and breakfast you can ask for local meals, she will cook it. -Staff were very friendly. Willing to help out wherever they could and treated you as a friend.
-The pool was lovely and had nice sun loungers beside it to relax on.
-Food and drinks from the accommodation were very well priced and the food was really yummy.
-breakfast was included in room rate and was delicious with a great variety to choose from
- the rooms were clean and nice, with air-conditioning.
-the place is quiet at night, far enough away from the clubs that the music doesn't distra.
We felt very familiar at indigo. Anton was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast times are flexible and if there's any problem they try as fast as possible to solve it. He showed us how to make the famous Anton's breakfest omlette and also the fantastic banana pancake. Our Bungalow was clean, the pool as well. Don't miss hearing Anton singing while having a cold beer at his bar.
Everything was perfect, the food was fantastic and really cheap. They did a buffet for us one night for about £1.50 each and it was traditional Lombok food which was delicious. The staff are all incredibly freindly and Anton is a really nice guy always smiling and keeping us amused. We planned to stay here 2 nights and stayed for 11 it was that good!!!.
I enjoyed the family feel to the bungalows. The pool was great and breakfast tasty.Had a really nice 4 days and will definitely return hopefully next summer. Ask the owner to book you in a massage by the pool - can't beat it! It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and nice to be off the main strip but close enough for a night out.

We had a great stay at Indigo bungalows. Only 4 bungalows, pool and a small bar. Great atmosphere. Big and clean rooms with AC. The couple who owns it are fantastic and will help you with your every need. Highly recommended!.
Fantastic private area only a street back from main strip in gillies. Staff where friendly and very accomadating. Would definitely stay there again.
