  Our stay at the Ascot Hotel was wonderful although we only stayed for a day but the staff made it as comfortable as it could be. The breakfast was basic and tasty. The room was very clean. The location was convenient for a city tour and shopping; you can find a whole street market just a minute walk to the main street in addition to Taj Mahal Pala... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ce and Gateway of India being minutes away.   We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting friends in Mumbai & some sight-seeing. We loved it. Modern, huge rooms, great TV safe. It was a busy hotel, but they served people well. Their older style lift was sweet & always a man to operate. The cleaning staff were also very caring. It was a great spot & the front door staff were wonderful & so friendly. The - Lovely hotel with excellent rooms at a great price. Maybe the softest bed I've ever been in!   Good sized room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet location, nice breakfast included in price. - Helpful staff to answer questions and help getting taxis. Quite an old style place but with updated facilities. Proximity to Mumbai CST train station.
