Our stay at gateway was excellent... The hospitality provided and assistance by reema was so good, that is the one and only reason why i am gonna choose all my trips to cochin will be accompanied with a stay at taj hotel, gateway... Thanks for the service. Eagerly Waiting for a nice and peaceful stay ahead with you.. The Staff were excellent--always smiling & so helpful at all times. Two girls Reema & Chennu on the front reception desk were beyond excellent--careful they are not poached by another company. Food in both restaurants was superb & always freshly cooked,breakfast had so much choice.

However the warmth and hospitality of the staff at the Gateway was the best I have ever experienced. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff went out their way to be friendly. I felt very safe vein a solo traveller and the treatments were really good. Friendly staff, the evening boat ride was fabulous, eat in menu was good. excellent level of service as usual, would use every time. Location, restaurants, service and general ambiance. Front desk & restaurant staff is cooperative. 1.Rooms were clean. 2.Staffs were good. The Brand and the basic trust on it. Service and ambience. the harbour view. Everything. The efficiency of the Duty Manager,the people in the reception and fine restaurants. Friendly staff, good rooms. Excellent restaurant. Nice view. Nothing.. Pity the Pool was not working due to Pump problems. Our stay would have been perfect if there had been free wifi for the guests. The BF was very simple, nothing impressive when compared to other hotels of the same class. The restaurant staff need more training in terms of knowing their guests and want they want every morning. I do not expect to tell them how my tea should be every monring. Apart from that it was a good experience and a good stay. Additional provision of faucets it toilets shall be useful. New DJ was very loud & disturbing at night. 1.The Bathrooms should must have equipped with bath Tub. It was a ordinary bathroom. 2.The Pool should be indoor . TV channels are very less. the restaurant and the cashier. Nill. After arriving ,they could not locate my Booking on the system in the reception.I asked for a city facing room and I was given a room facing the adjoining Flats.After my intervention they gave me a reasonably decent room.The swimming pool and its toilets/changing rooms are very poorly maintained. Only havd four sunbeds around the pool (what a jioke). Lousy staff ... Average food. - Quality of breakfast - Smoke coming from adjacent room. - Surrounding places are dirty.
