  The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was of the highest standard and the large balcony with a lake view was a big bonus! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.   The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect. Where do you find a hotelowner who cleans you carwindow before driving off? - Absolutely lovely building. Beautifully decorated.   This is a simple guest house but a very good one with excellent facilities for the money. The villa is a 10-minute walk down to the lakeside and the walk itself is very pleasant. The owners were delightful, friendly but also knew to leave us to do our own thing. They were also very accommodating in terms of any requests we had.   Veronika is a very good host. She is very friendly & helpful. We were collected from the train station upon our arrival and dropped off upon our departure. She is always in good mood and forever smiling & laughing. She took time upon our arrival to show us on the map were all the amenities where in Balatonfured.
