  Good location in the Pest part of the city within walking distance of the Elisabeth bridge. An easy five minute bus ride from the Keleti train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample too. Charming older building and I loved the old cage lift.   For the price the hotel was suitable. However the room was quite different from description at the time of booking - no bath and small room. I am nearly sure they also mentioned a kitchen area. I liked the location it was about a 15-20 walk from the very center of the city which I liked, it was in a trendy neighborhood and the walk was very enjoya... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ble but again on the description it stated it was in the city center. Therefore a good location for young couples. However it was very clean and good - Stayed there for the second time. After visiting other hotels at a higher rate with less convenience, I found this hotel was quite a good one. If you reach there by train, take m2 and just one stop to Blaha Lujza ter. Walk along Jozsef korut towards Baross U. Take about 10 mins. If you reach by plane, take bus no. 200E from airport to the last stop. Then take the metro m3 to station Kalvin ter. About 7-min walk to reach the hotel.

  The travel cot supplied for our 17 month old was great and really comfy for him, the staff were really helpful when we were there but also leading up to our trip with help organising our airport shuttle and other taxis we needed. the apartments were excellent and very clean and tidy. The staff were happy to locate and lend items to me that I forgot to bring. Good location for exploring and for bars in the evening. The rooms are great value, having a cooker and a fridge and a coffee maker en suite meant we could buy fresh and cook ourselves. Finally, the beds were fine. Comfortable enough for a good night's sleep and although the hotel was on the main drag, the shutters and blinds knocked out (most of) the noise.

  We had an excellent stay at the Budapest residence! It started when we arrived terribly late as we were caught in a snow storm driving from Krakow and did not arrive until 2am. The concierge (I believe his name was Peter or Paul - sorry!) Was so friendly and greeted us like we arrived at 2 in the afternoon! The artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on some bookings.
