The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to the main shopping street and the Danube river, in a very quiet building block, with surveillance cameras on each level and on the elevator, so it's very safe. The apartment is clean, and you have anything you need. The host is very nice and helpful. And if you're coming by car i recommend using a garage, is hard to find a place on a street and you have a 3h max limit. There are 3 options available on katona apartments website.
kaikki arvostelut » It was my second time at Katona Apartments and it couldn't have been better!!! Janos (the owner) is a wonderful person, really nice and willing to help. My dad got sick and he found us a doctor really close to the apartment, so he was really helpful. The apartment is really nice, comfortable, clean and very well-located. You can feel like at home there. I'd strongly recommend it and I'll go back there for sure next time I go to Budapest, which is an awesome city. The owner was very nice, speaks english very well, he did advice us which are the nicest places to visit, to shop, or to eat. The location is in the center of the city, very close to visiting sites, food or shops. In the appartment you can find everything you need. You can cook for yourself, or you can wash your clothes if you stay longer. You can also find many maps and Budapest albums. Excellent apartment in the town centre, very close to Vaci utca and the underground. The owner is very helpful and he speaks English very well. He explained us everything about Budapest and about the apartment, and we could pay in euro. The apartment is also very quiet and clean. I recommend it to everyone that want to stay in a central and comfortable accomodation. Fantastic facilities with amazingly helpful and friendly hosts. Virag and Janos are splendid people and the location of their apartment is super. Anything one would want is available in this accommodation. Excellent value and I would not hesitate to use again if coming to Budapest. Location was excellent! Steps away from the metro, and easy walking distance to everything touristy. The space felt very roomy, the kitchen facilities were very convenient, and we loved the unique design of the raised/pull-out beds. The owners at Katona apartments were so friendly and helpful. They had maps and brochures to help us find our way. When we needed to book a sight seeing tour online, they even printed the tickets for us. Great location, wonderful greeting, very clean, well equipped and nice apartment, My only suggestion is that it might be time to change the towels...Other then that everything was perfect. Despite that, everything was perfect!. Nothing to dislike here. We couldn't figure out how to work the washing machine properly, so our clothes didn't really wash properly. I can't think of anything that would make our experience there better. The street construction made it hard to find, but that is no fault of the apartment complex and will hopefully be completed soon.. The shower floor was flooded because of poor drainage. Nothing. -Lift stuck. Cloudy weather ;). Nothing.
