This hostel is located within a 2-minute walk from Budapest's Synagogue and 200 metres from the M2 Astoria Metro Station, with links to Keleti Train Station. Wi-Fi access, coffee and tea as well as bed linen are provided free of charge. Bazar Hostel offers 24-hour reception, a fully-equipped common kitchen and a lounge area with a computer and sofas. A restaurant and a café are located in the same building. All rooms have hardwood floors and a work desk. Bathrooms with shower are either shared or private. Some of them are colourfully decorated and the beds in the dormitories feature lamps and a lockable cupboard. In the surroundings of the Bazar there are numerous bars, pubs and fashion boutiques. Guests can reach Gellert Bath within a 1.5-km long tram ride and the International Airport is 17 km away.

I recently had a unexpectedly extended stay at Bazar Hostel and have many reasons to recommend this hostel. On my first day I managed to break my big toe and travelling by myself I was a bit stuck and very almost miserable. The Bazar Hostel staff were amazing and it is quite possible that I wouldn't have gotten back to Australia without them. The owners sorted me out for hospitals and fetched me food, Balack (sp?) cycled to the hospital to collect my x-rays, Peter translated documents for .
kaikki arvostelut » Friendly and helpful staff - I asked to keep my backpack for 5 days while I'll be away, and they didn't find it a problem. Free coffee and tea at the kitchen, even special shelve with a free food and drinks. 2 computers with internet for free usage, loads of books and guides to different countries, that you can take and read in the common space. Great staff, very attentive and helpful with any issue you might have. They have excellent level of English, so there was no problem to communicate with them, at all. They handled briliantly my mate, who was constantly drunk and fall asleep a couple of times on the couch at the reception area, oops :). Everybody was so nice and friendly, the room and the bathroom were clean.They offered me tea and coffe for free and there is someone there 24/24 h which was cool for me cause I had to catch a plane so I had to get up at 3 A.M. It was also very close to the center. Staffs are all very friendly and location is perfect. Very easiy accessible from Metro Station. It is very clean and good atmosphere. Quiet in the night (one street back from the main road, no noisy from cars). Lots of bars and restaurant around. It is really a nice place to live in. The receptionists are all really nice and really helpful. For backpackers and maybe normal students who wants to save money yet live well, it's definitely a good hostel to recommand. Located in the city center from where most of the important sights are easily accessible by walk/public transport. Location is excellent, just behind the Great Synagoge. the staff is very helpful and nice as well. And the hostel common rooms are quite cozy, which made me feel like i was at home. It is worth the money and people in the reception is very nice. The room and restroom are both very clean. My mate had his wallet stolen, but it wasn't staff fault, at the end of the day, you don't know who you will ended up with dormitory room with.Taking a shower must be done quickly, as the hot water runs out in no time :(. They didn't offer towels and there is a bar downstairs, so it's quite noisy and a little disturbing when you want to sleep....but if you're really tired eventually you'll be sleeping before you notice. The place is a little bit hard to find especially at night. It's a little bit far from the city center. The streets around in that area seems a little bit unsafe yet the hostel itself is definitely a safe place to stay. I have absolutely no complaints!. The Heating in the bedroom wasn't working very well which made it a little difficult to sleep. People in the community room were talking loudly until midnight. If you can set a quire hour (after 10/11 pm) would be much better. -There is a bar under the hostel and some of the rooms are directly on it. My room was a little bit far from it and my window was closed,so I had no problems, but better bring ear plugs in case of noisy nights - Doors are thin and people in the common room were making lots of noise sometimes after 10-11 pm, they should warn them to stay quiet after those hours. nothing. There were insects in the bathroom (we have booked double bed room with private bathroom). I am no sure if these were cockroaches bet they were like them ant there were many of them. WC are a bit less. bathroom outside of the room and there is a bar downstairs which is loud in the night. Nothing. The hostel was over a disco pub so it's impossible to sleep for the whole night. The receptionist didn't know anything about public transport... she told me to take a taxi to reach the airport because in her opinion on Sunday metro doesn't work (of course it works and I took it).
