Their owners were very helpful and friendly. Relax and spacious rooms. Rooms on the 2nd floor have views of vineyard and lake Balaton. Spa and sauna can be used for free, but we stay one night only so didn't have time. Great view, you could taste Laposa wines with some cheese & ham plate at the hotel till nearly midnight, no cooked food in the hotel though - eat at the restaurant in a winery half way down the hill.

Amazing view on the lake, possibility to taste wines of the winery. The rooms are spacious, the decoration of the bathroom is very pretty. Nice area with potential for a very pleasant stay for wine-lovers... Panorama from the terrace. Nice architecture, overlooking the hills. Big rooms, but that's all. A little bit difficult to find. But sure u will find it worthy upon arrival. It would be easier to follow road sign to the wine house next to it which I couldn't remember by now. Bank cards are not accepted which is a bit strange for a 4* hotel... Please be prepared as the nearest bank machine is down in the city center. You can pay euros though. Also, the hotel is hard to find so follow the signs for Laposa pince and the hotel will be the next building up on the hill. Ground floor rooms are a bit lacking of the great view. Last part of the road made of stones :). If the rooms had a balcony would have been better and possibility a swimming pool. they should focus on the cleanness..hair on the floor in the bathroom, the carpet was bit dirty as well as not vacuumed properly!. We arrived at the end of the season and the restaurant of the hotel was closed. We couldn't find any other open restaurants around, so we had to have cold cuts for dinner. One of our rooms' bathroom had a really bad sewage smell. Only cash payment. The service is poor; no cooked food available; noisy; inexperienced staff; lousy wireless(there is a single router at the reception) problems with sewage when it rains(smell); and finally, the wines are ridiculously expensive compared to the other locations in the area... There was no shampoo or bath gel. The panorama from the room was not what they promised (no good view at the lake). Maybe from the upper floor its better. Not the 4-star rating, you may expect. The fridge from minibar was not working (it was reported, it was apperantly a 'known problem'). Airconditioning was only working now & then. I did not notice any restaurant staff (although pictures on the booking website would let you believe you can eat delicious). No possbility to pay with credit card.
