Archondissa is a family run hotel. The owners are very friendly and they are responding fast to any inquiry (before stay and during stay). The hotel is situated on a pebble beach (big smooth stones, like in a mountain river). You need watershoes but the water is very clear and very good for snorkeling. Usually there are maximum 6 people on the hotel beach, which is very very quiet. The view from the balcony is very nice. The rooms were cleaned thorough every day and the towels/blankets/bed .

The staff are the perfect hosts, ensuring their guests have that "holiday smile" you can only get if you're properly looked after. Clean, robust accommodation in an idyllic setting far from the madding crowd, yet right on the beach - the only true beach hotel on Samothraki. It's a place for everyone, from young and old couples, through nature lovers to families with young kids and toddlers. Free use of barbecue. Hope you e. Very hospitable and friendly staff, the rooms have great sea view. Great for families with children, big yard for children to play safely. Quiet and relaxing, away from the crowds. Warm welcome, we arrived early and for the few minutes we had to wait until our room was ready, we were offered a great greek coffee. In the room we found a bottle of cold wine as welcome drink. We spent 10 days here and still we wish we could have stayed longer... the architecture of the hotel, each room is suronded by lush vegetation and flowers and, in one direction (20 m ) is the blue see and opposite you look at the mountains. As for the owners - a great family, we felt like relatives there! Special thanks for helping us solve or car problems!. One of our the most favorite hotels in the World!!! Great respect to Yana, Alex and Polina, who became our good friends! We would rate this hotel at least 15 from 10!))) Hope to return here many many times in future!. polina and her parents are great people they helped us with everything. The place is very clean and beautifull. We had wonderfull vacation there and we will be happy to come again. The hotel itself is a beautiful site. It is well maintained and landscaped. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Archondissa. This is in a very peaceful location on the waterfront with great views of the mountain on Smaothrace as well as over to the main land of Greece. A special place! A piece of heaven! Two special hosts women Yanna and Polina. Thank you for all!. The authenticity of the place and its location: right on the seaside in an unspoiled area. extremely clean quiet nice garden friendly staff. Great location, great view, a very cozy and nice hotel. Even this wasn't a big issue for me, in order to avoid to be unsatisfied, everybody should be aware that you need to drive around 5 km in order to reach a restaurant/shop. That we couldn't stay longer. Nothing. Everything was great!. too small bathroom, only one bathroom for a twoo bedrooms apartment too small kitchinette, poorly equipped for a hotel without restaurant. The pillows and the shower were the only things we did not like.
