Balcony rooms (I wasn't around to 'use' one so did without) might get some noise from the square but this is an excellent base in the heart of Argostoli, with a good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and a few yards from the quay. -

Stayed at Tourist in early August. We are a family of three so it was nice to have an extra room for the kid. Balcony was facing the harbor and was on the shady side in the afternoon. The room was spotless. They cleaned it properly every day. Excellent breakfast. They even make coffee on request so that you get exactly the one you like. Staff members were very nice and helpful. The owner Maria , was amazing. Looked after us exceedingly well, even leaving umbrellas outside our room when it rained! Nice touch. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, daily maid service, bed linen changed every couple of days and the view was spectacular! This is how a hotel should be run. -
